Foodie Kids

Foodie Kids
You know those times when you feel so carefree and you just do what you want, those are the times we were having during the day I took these shots. We were walking around, window shopping like nobody's business. Since it was a Saturday, which means the family is a whole! Walk around, did several pit stop for snacking/tea-time around the clock. I still keep my eyes open for possible candidates; to be my next bag. I want to splurge on one as my own gift for myself. So, it gotta be good! Every now and then, we are ought to reward ourselves for achievements that we did. It's like a pat on your back for your hardwork. A little appreciation goes a long way, ain't it true? So that was what I did, spotted several candidates, but there was no spark between us. Until I met this one! I saw it from afar, and it just pulled me towards it. Saw it, fell in love, but I was in denial! You know those feelings; like you have those butterflies but you just want to be sure that you are not missing out on what's out there. The "could there be other possible 'the one'??". I had that thought over and over again, but somehow I decided not to overthink. One way to remove it, is to give it time, see if the feeling is still there, then you can be 120% sure that it is indeed, the One. You know what I did? I hold the bag, then I let it go. I went to distract myself and I go somewhere else (as in a few blocks away from the shop's mall), and I shop for other things instead! That is until...
"Thank you for shopping with us, but we are closing in 10 minutes time....."
I couldn't remember the rest of the sentences, but it was total chaos. Everyone was just making their last payment, some were just leaving. The mall's main entrance was crowded and filled with all different people. Some of you can see the "big designer label" lovers, "high street fashion" people, the "I just want to take photo with the Christmas decoration" people, and just some people who is in such a rush that you can clearly see their face getting annoyed by the crowd. I almost lost myself, imagine that? Then I got reunited with my family again, but the reality hit me when my dad asked me,
"So? Are you getting that bag?"
I stopped, and begin to worry. I haven't even thought of the final decision! They knew about a few suitable candidates that I shortlisted. However, they were of course in favor of the same one that I fell hard for. At that moment, I felt happy and sure! We walked so fast just so we can reach that shop before it closed!
I was of course, their last customer of the day. I felt like a VIP because the moment we entered the shop, they closed the door (which was wide open all this while). The workers there were happily chit chatting with me while I go through/examine the bag. My dad just had to pull off the counting-cash joke on me. (It's so hilarious, you should see him doing it!). I went back happy. But! With an empty stomach! My family went to have dinner earlier because my sister and I was too busy shopping few blocks away. It was almost 11pm and all shops were closed so our only option left (within walking distance to our hotel) are Chinos or Dome. My sister & I being as foodie as we already are, we were enjoying every bit of our moment dining at such late hour! I really wanted the pizzas but it was finished so yeah...
Didn't get to take photos of all the food we had during the day, which left me with just these two drinks of our late breakfast..

Here it is, the one for my 2013. A little present for myself :)
Till then, share the love!
xoxo
